The Black Genoa Fig is a fast growing deciduous tree bearing masses of excellent quality purple skinned Figs with red flesh. Grown commercially as it is a high yielding tree, the large figs have a very sweet rich flavour. Self Fertile, meaning it does not require a cross pollinator, requires a full sun position and protection from birds for best crops.
