The Ramona Avocado is a seedling selection originating from Gympie, Qld with unknown parentage. The Ramona tree is dense in growth habit and is classed as semi dwarf.
The fruit of the Ramona although small is excellent eating quality, doesn't brown when cut and with a smooth creamy texture. The Ramona Fruit has a red/purple smooth skin with speckles, ripening to dark black when fully ripe and a very small seed.
