The Meli is a late maturing Tarocco selection with fruit remaining on the tree in good condition for an extended period.

The fruit is a Yellow-orange, smooth to slightly pebbled, rind easily removed at full
maturity. The flavour is sweet, juicy and usually seedless.

Colour in fruit develops more with cold storage.
