Blueberry Gimme 5

The Gimme 5 Blueberry has been developed on the North coast of NSW for commercial blueberry production.

Gimme 5 is a low chill variety, suitable for growing from Sydney to Rockhampton.

A fast growing bush to 2 metres, upright, self-pollinating, deciduous with beautiful autumn leaves, leaves are thick with little susceptibility to rust.

The fruit are produced in heavy crops in winter and spring, from prolific flowers.

The fruit is big, sweet and of excellent flavour and suitable for commercial production. It can cross pollinate with Brightwell, Powder Blue and other blueberry varieties. Can tolerate heavy rain, frost, hot conditions, which makes it easily grown in many climates.
