Cardamom - True Cardamom

The True Cardamom plant, Elettaria cardamomum, produces a spice which has been traditionally used in Indian and Asian cooking and can be used whole or ground into a spice, the leaves can also used to flavour cooking.

The Cardamon plant is native to Southern India and prefers warm, rich, moist soils in a protected, shaded position cardamom is drought and frost tender.
