The Cherry of the Rio Grande aka as CORG is a stunning small tree has glossy green leaves and very ornamental bark.

The profusion of white flowers are followed by deep red cherry sized fruit approximately 2-3 weeks from flowering.

The fruit is a sensational substitute in warmer climates for the traditional Cherry.

The fruit has a sweet juicy cherry flavour eaten fresh. The Fruit is also fantastic when used to make jellies, jams and added to juices.

The CORG is a relatively compact tree making it perfect for small back yards as well as for growing in a pot .
