The Meiwa Cumquat is a highly ornamental, cold hardy tree that produces a small rounded fruit that can be eaten straight from the tree whole. As the skin and the flesh are very sweet it is favoured by children and adults alike. The fruit is also commonly used in cooking and preserving into jams and marmalades.
