The Bonza pear is an early fruiting pear variety that is low chill and well suited to subtropical / Warm temperate areas. The best time to harvest the Bonza is when the skin is still slightly green and allowing the fruit to ripen to yellow. The Bonza is a sweet and self pollintating Pear with semi rounded fruits similar to a Nashi in shape. The Bonza can pollinate the other Nashi/Pear varieties.
