The China Nashi is a very low chill selection that performs well in the subtropics areas of SEQLD and northern NSW. The China Nashi is used as a cooking pear as the fruit doesn't go soft on ripening. Self pollinating however increased fruit set with a pollinator of low chill nashi or pear.
