Persimmon Dai Dai Maru - Astringent

Plants are dormant late autumn and winter- no leaves until spring.

The Dai Dai Maru is a semi upright tree, producing rounded fruit of a medium size with a beautiful orange-red, glossy skin and a dark burnt orange flesh. The Dai Dai Maru is edible when fully ripe and soft and is deliciously sweet. The fruit is seedless when not cross-pollinated and produces bountiful crops.
