Raspberry - Molucca

The Molucca Raspberry is a raspberry native to Qld Australia, PNG and Southeast Asia. It produces bright red berries, slightly bigger and less tart then exotic raspberries. Flowering in summer, with berries appearing on the young new canes. When harvesting, wait until the fruit practically falls of its stem when touched. A prolific and aggressive growing plant, recommended for a large pot. For best results, use a rich and loamy potting mix and position in full sun or dappled shade. Prune out old canes once they have fruited.
