Shipping policy

 

All orders are processed within 1 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

There may be potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We ship with Australia Post and Aramex.

  

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 1416 Tin Can Bay Road, Goomboorian QLD 4570.

After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are Thursday - Saturday or by Appointment. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

When creating an order for pick up we ask you  to choose a pickup date. Plants are usually prepared for pickup and placed into a waiting area in the shop on the day you choose. Please Note:  We hold orders for a  maximum of 3 weeks only.  Any longer and potted plants usually need care and planting out, they may outgrow their pots, go backwards from lack of nutrient etc. These plants are either discarded or placed into the Nursery outlet store discount bays.  It is important to understand that 3 weeks after the pickup date is a long time after the order was scheduled for pickup and can not be extended. There are strictly no refunds after this time.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 2 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at rosscreektropicals@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

 

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

The Ross Creek Tropicals Team wants you to love your plants as much as we do!

If there are any issues with your purchase, we would love to help.

Please notify us within 24 hours of received if there is something wrong with your order. We do not accept returns for incorrect orders of plants.

Please carefully follow all care instructions for your new plants, paying attention to their watering and light requirements.

If you are unhappy with your purchase in anyway please contact us within 24 hours of delivery by email and we will do our very best to resolve the situation.

Depending on the issue we will be happy to offer a refund, partial refund or exchange at our sole discretion.

If you have concerns about the care of your plant please contact us for guidance.

We do not guarantee plants will perform well outside of there preferred climates and we can not guarantee your ability to care for the plants please contact us immediately if you have concerns so we can assist you in caring for your plant.

If your goods are damaged on arrival, please take a photo and contact us immediately via email so that we can follow up the matter with the delivery company and talk through how to recover your plant.

All Cancelled orders, or Orders made for NT, TAS and WA will incur a $10 refund fee to cover our costs and payment handling fees.

It is the customers responsibility to follow up on tracking of their packages, sometimes emails can be in junk mail. Please do not post plants back without first contacting us via email at rosscreektropicals@gmail.com
